I made a stable dual camera platform for the GoPro Hero 8. They are 4k and work fairly well. I made a little box for the battery, and slots to run cable ties/zip ties/string/whatever to secure each device in place…just in case.
2 USB cables run to the cameras through 3d printed doors/holes for the usb-c cord:
