I have enjoyed working on this project the last couple of months in tinkercad and testing in the field. I think I have it where I want it now.
I have changed the angle to 25 degree to get more of the nearest sideline. The tripod mount stays attached and the camera unit just slides on held by friction and gravity. Example shot was a windy day with no issues about stability. Battery holder stays on and is ready for quick change if required. All control of the cameras is done through the app which can turn them on, sync the date and start recording once it has power. The stitch was near perfect. Even when there was a wobble from the wind, it was still a quality video with only minimal evidence.
