Anyone succeeding with matching exposure between the two cameras?

I’ve been using Actionstitch for close to a year and still haven’t found a good method of syncing the exposure between the two cameras. Has anyone had repeated success and if so, how are you doing it?

My setup is two of the Gamsod cameras using the 3d printed mount, and here’s what I’ve tried:

  • Spot metering and using the common location between the two cameras. This always results in visible brightness differences.
  • Manually setting the exposure on the two Gamsod cameras to be identical. This works short term but if the sunlight changes then it can get too dark or too light.

Debating whether to get two iphones and use the blackmagic camera app to sync the settings, but not sure if that will be able to auto adjust both and keep them in sync.

I wonder the same. I do not poses technical expertise, but my guess is that only stitch software can fix it. I was hopping that Autocam would fix it, but not yet. I wonder if SeeUsPlay solved this problem.
