Beta testing my new AI ball tracking solution for soccer

After over a year of development, my new AI ball tracking solution is finally ready for testing! I’m looking for a few testers to help evaluate it. Here’s what you need to know:

  • You’ll need to purchase a webcam and a couple of accessories from Amazon, with an estimated total cost of around $200.
  • A fully refundable deposit is required to receive the ball tracking device. You can either return the device after testing to get your deposit back, or opt to keep the device, in which case the deposit will not be refunded.
  • Ideally, you should reside in the US, be able to record 2–3 11v11 soccer games over the next month, and be willing to share the recorded videos with me.

If you’re interested in participating, please send me a PM!

I can record kids soccer games 7v7 and 9v9.

@gchen I’d be interested in beta testing the solution.

I’m curious if there will be zooming in/out on the processed video, like current AI cams do?

It doesn’t zoom in/out because the camera doesn’t support it, but the quality is 4k, much better than all current AI cams.

Could the software do it if the final video size is 1080p?

At this time, the device can’t pro-process the video to crop it down to 1080p. On a GPU it might be possible but I haven’t tried.
