Hi, I am in the process of considering to get the license. Wondering if this will work with a lower resolution of 1080p. Rationale is that I only have a MacBook pro on an intel i7 chip although i do have 32gb RAM. Not sure how long or even if my machine can cope with 4K x 2. Appreciate any insight.
I run two 5.3k 60fps stitching on a Mac mini M1 with 8GB of ram and it’s about 22hr. Looking at the performance monitor memory seems to be my limitation as it’s about pegged out. I’d love to try stitching on a bigger machine and see how it goes sometimes.
If you can spare the time in my opinion it’s worth the wait.
Thanks, still mulling as have only 1 machine for work and play.
I wanted to bump this thread back up. 4k x 2 is a lot of data and recording at 4k tends to over heat cameras pretty quickly. Can we stitch 2 1080 recordings together?
In my option there is really no need to stitch 2 1080 videos. The stitched video would be less than 4k due to the overlap. You could just place a single 4k camera some distance away from the field to capture the whole field.
