I rip the threads of the base I created, I probably went too cheap on the material. Any recommendation on a more durable material? one that can tolerate the screw and un-screw on the tripod?
thx

I printed most of my mounts with PLA which works well. It can also be an infill density issue. I usually printed in with 50%-60% infill.
Recently I got a new spool of PETG filament, which seems to be stronger than PLA, so it may be a better choice.
However, if you have a solder then it is fairly easy to fix the thread.
Hi David, I use heat set threaded inserts. They work great. Works with any plastic type
