How to determine resolution for stitching?

Hi all - sorry for all the questions, but I am working my way through my first attempts. I searched for this topic but don’t see it anywhere: How do you know what to set the resolution as during the stitching phase? My videos are recorded as 3840x2160. If I try to use these values as my input, this is how it looks

I change it to suit the size of the field. You need to remember that the standard TV resolutions are not suited to show a full soccer field. Make it wider and less tall. I think I run in the 6600 x 2200 range but shoot from higher up with more of an angle down to show closer to the cameras.

Okay, I tried 6600x2200, and this is the result. I must be missing a step along the way.

The stitching in your first screenshot looks correct, but not the second screenshot. Make sure that the left and right video align well in the overlapping area before starting the stitching process.

@gchen the stitching is correct despite the weird looking clouds in the left corner? I am recording a new game today and am hoping to give this another try.

Thank you.
