I was board today and processed a video today and decided to watch the resources used and found it interesting that only used 52% of the processor, very little of the GPU, and RAM. The hard drive never got over 30% use either so is there anyway to speed up the program to use more of the resources to shorten the time to stitch?
There is certainly room for improvements. My new GPU-based stitching code is fast enough to do it in real time. I’ll try to get this into the next version.
Do you know time frame for the next update?
I plan to release a new version before the start of the spring soccer season, so it should be in a couple of months.
If you need a beta tester, let me know. I’m in the midst of basketball season with 3 or 4 games a week, so cutting the 12 hour processing time would be huge.
Is there any update on this? Would be a game changer.
Bumping this. Would also love to beta test on various GPUs.
