Osmo action 4 double lines

Trying to stitch the videos, I see this

It is a stitching issue. In the stitching dialog make sure that the middle line from both videos is completely overlapped. You can try a few different frames to stitch and see which one gives the best result.

do I just select frames and click add stitch point?

I’ve manually synced the videos, gone through frames but I still get double lines and sometimes the video is skewed.
Can I post a clip of the videos to see if you get a different result?

Which camera model did you select in the camera selection dialog? We haven’t done the calibration for Osmo Action 4. The closest one I can find is Osmo Action 3 at actionstitch-player/calibration at main · gilbertchen/actionstitch-player · GitHub. But it appears Osmo Action 4 has a different lens.

Can you record a video of a checkerboard similar to this one: https://download.actionstitch.com/calibration_sample.mp4? The idea is to move the camera around so that the checkerboard will cover all areas but at each position pause for one second or two (to avoid blurriness).

The best option for the checkerboard is to download one from Calibration Checkerboard Collection | Mark Hedley Jones and show it on a large screen.

Another thing to note that you should use the same shooting mode for the calibration and the game videos. No stabilization, wide FOV, the same resolution, etc.

I uploaded two videos in the new folder in the link above called osmo action
One for wide and one for ultra wide. I used ultra wide in the previous ones but I wans’t sure which mode was better.
I thought saw osmo action 4 but I was looking at osmo action 4k 16:9

I was able to obtain the following calibration data for the wide mode from your video:

Save it to a json file and click the ‘Load from file’ button in the camera selection dialog to select the saved json file.

I wasn’t able to calibrate the ultra wide mode though (the calibration error was too large). I suspected that your game videos were shot in this mode since the wide mode calibration data didn’t give good results.

Can you record another game in the wide mode to see if the calibration works?

Will do. I have some game this weekend and will try it.
I also have a video I think recorded in wide I can try.

This works great! One camera got put to slowmo mode but I was able to upscale it and worked as well. Will post links
