Script Error after entering activation code

I had trouble trying to activate the application. The windows would not close after entering the activation code. Now everytime I start the application, I have an “Unhandle exeption in script” window that is saying : "Failed to execute script ‘as_main’ due to unhandled exeption: ‘ascii’ codec can’t decode byte 0xc3 in position 215: ordinal number not in range(128).

Traceback (most recent call last):
File “as_main.py”, line 430, in
File “as_license.py”, line 146, in verifyLicense
File “as_license.py”, line 116, in loadLicense
UnicodeDecodeError: ‘ascii’ codec can’t decode byte 0xc3 in position 215: ordinal not in range(128)

This is a unicode conversion bug. Can you try again? I just changed the name in your license to keep only your last name for a temporary workaround.

Sorry about the inconvenience!

I can’t get the tray icon to show. So I cannot enter the new activation code… Want me to uninstall?

Actually I forgot that this bug has already been fixed in the latest version 1.0.4:

https://download.actionstitch.com/actionstitch_1.0.4.exe
https://download.actionstitch.com/actionstitch_1.0.4.dmg

It should let you activate the license after you install this version.

The tray icon should always be there regardless of activation status. Windows by default doesn’t show all tray icons by default but you can click the up arrow on the task bar to expand them.

Awesome, thanks for the very quick replies.
I uninstall the other version (no icon in tray and no as_main.exe in the process) and installed the new one(1.0.4). No problem now activating the licence.

Now it’s time to Stich those videos.

Thank you
