Set-up for using 2 IPhones

Hi, Hope all is well
Planning on creating a set-up similar to Veo go but myself and 3D printing a mount.
I have a couple questions regarding the mount and the stitching:

  1. how did you decide the spacing of the 2 recording devices for the mount? iphone wide angle camera has a smaller FoV than the go-pro so i assume the spacing and angle of the mounting would have to be different?

  2. what would i need to do to be able to stitch the iphone feeds? would i need to send a calibration video for it? if so, is that enough for me to use actionstitch or would i need more?

I think the angle between 2 iPhones should be 80°. This will provide the same overlap as 2 go pros, while still covering the entire field.
